The 4.6 can be supercharged, Car and Driver did a flog several years ago where they did just that. This probably helped push Ford on the Marauder concept. Unfortunately, I think C&D blew up 2 or three motors getting it right. I think the Lightning is a 4.6 with supercharger (Roots/Whipple I think).I've owned 2x 4.6 powered CVPIs and actually learned to drive in a 4.6 '96 Lincoln Town car, so I like those motors too. Anyhow, in 2020/2021 I LS swapped 2011 CVPI P7B and built a turbo kit for it.
